Just this weekend it was over 100 degrees, and today it was quite comfortable. Tonight on the dog walk it was actually very cool. The cool air and the sound of the wind are making me nostalgic for fall and the dark rainy winter.

My new favorite vodcast is Cocktails on the Fly with Alberta Straub. Of course it's my only vodcast. Miss Flighty is a little eccentric, but she enjoys what she's doing and provides a lot of good info. Check it out!

I was browsing around on Webtender this weekend and I came up with this. I don't think I saw this exact recipe, so I don't think I'm stealing it.

• 1/2 oz. Tanqueray No. Ten gin
• 1/2 oz. Vodka
• 1/2 oz. Midori melon liqueur

This is Karl and that is his shiny OCLC mug. After two years of receiving new mugs and threats of a new mug every gift exchange we have in the future, Karl came in with his old mug sans what looked like 20 years of coffee residue. It was a historical moment.

We've been busy getting ready for tomorrow. The unturkey is in the process of being constructed. The most important item for tomorrow is already in the freezer. :)

Well I tried Stðk: a black coffee shot. A shot of energy. Though the unsweetened has an odd bitterness and the sweet is only slightly sweet, the energy is worth it. As a matter of fact, I instantly looked for a place to buy a box of this stuff. Having woken up too late to have coffee every morning this week, it strikes me as a good idea to have some of this handy. Perhaps a dispenser next to the bed...

Amazing Race / Survivor TV Party was burrito themed at C & B's tonight. Complete wtih margarita cupcakes and margaritas.
